// about

Built by a maker who'd rather make it than buy it

I'm Todd. By day I'm a software developer at an advertising agency, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about how brands look and feel. By night (and weekends) I'm in the shop.

I've always been the DIY guy: if I can make it instead of buying it, I will. Heartland Digital Fab grew out of that. It's a small shop with serious machines, run by someone who cares about getting the details right.

The software side helps too. Messy files, rough sketches and "can you make something like this?" are welcome. Turning ideas into clean, machine-ready designs is half the fun.
